Charlton for captain

Recommended Posts

One of the things we need is an on-field leader. Now I didn''t hear Charlton speak on Saturday which others have said he did but I have been impressed at how well and coherently he comes across. Adam had a bad game on sat, but I don''t feel his personality is strong enough to stamp his authority on a whole side and sort things out. Charlton could do that I feel- that might help this defence sitting too deep issue.

Yeh, I  voiced this topic couple of months ago and it met with general agreement, since then I haven''t seen Drury give too many inspirational captains'' performances.

It was disrespect to Adam! He was a quiet player but now he''s given the job and he deserved a chance to change that. I spoke to him at Colney before the Newcastle United League Cup match, he told he tried his very best to shout advise on the pitch! Give him a chance, I am confidence he will does  the job for us!!!
I think you''re right, Charlton would probably make a better captain than Drury. But it won''t happen as Drury is Worthy''s golden boy.
New player for captain? You can see the failure of Neil Emblen...

Don''t try it again!!!
