Gunnys Army 0 Posted March 18, 2009 At the moment it appears we are in an episode of Dads Army and the theme tune should be changed to "Don''t panic Mr Gunn because we are on a survival run".To help us combat this relegation battle,I''ve made an ode to Gunns Army and his troops:Hoolahan may have gone out of this relegation battle but the Dury is still on with our chances of survival on a Daley basis, but I will put my Renton us staying up this season.Stefanovic maybe wounded and Kennedys knee shot to pieces so he has been returned to sender .Which leaves us fighting the relegation battle with Doherty trying to Shackell both Bertrand and the guy who sometimes appears to be a bit of a Ostemorbor. Let us hope they don''t get Cort -Marshalled for it. We have to be Clinigan to the hope that our midfield general will be bossing the troops to victory now that he has been made vice captain ,while missing his Russell terrier sidekick. So we must remain optimistic to the end,now we have a Gunn in charge and a Deehan scouting for the enemy.By hook or by Crook we should be Killen the enemy off especially as we now have an Eagle eye for a hot-shot in that man Mooney. It should hopefully be Butterworth it to see us to safety where we can then be Lappin it up back at the trenches of Carrow Road.We can then Gow and celebrate with our heroes like Lord Nelson by giving them all Pattison their backs while having a laugh at a McDonalds where we can all have a glass or two of Croft originals and later in the evening it will be Spillane all over the Ruddy place! Gunnys Army 0 Posted March 22, 2009 I appreciate your comments Ciderkidd, it looks like we will have to add another name to this ode to Gunns Army and that is the war-horse in Alan Lee!Is anyone out there interested in writing another ode in some format to honour the true legend in the big man Gunny, especially if he can now turn our dream into reality and keep us up?Come on you guys, get your thinking caps on because it would be great to then forward these messages onto Gunny, to give give him and the lads the extra inspiration that they will need to see us to safety. Gunnys Army 0 Posted March 26, 2009 I have also thought of another ode for some of our goalies past and present,The cat,Keelan is out of the bag now that we have not got a,Bakers dozen games to go. So we realize we are not out of the Woods yet by along shot !!!Therefore we need someone to Marshall the defence so we can Steer clear of relegation and not end up playing Hans-bury next season !!!
