IM GOING ON RECORD...WERE STAYIN UP
Thus far our points tally per eight games with two fixtures remaining in the 5th sequence of 8 matches IS 7.8 pts - factamundo.

We will draw with Plymouth tomorrow & lose at Birmingham, leaving us on 40pts & an average of 8pts per per sequence of eight matches with six games to play.

To virtually guarantee survival we would then need at least 11pts from the final six fixtures.

Our average points tally per six games this season is a little over 6 points. [:$]
The obvious conclusion to draw from these amazing details is that at the end of the season, if we divide our games into blocks of six instead of eight, we will be three points better off and therefore safe from relegation. Thanks Shyster, genious! [Y]

Nay, ol'' timer, the obvious conclusion to draw from those amazing details is the fact that you are quite content to view Norwich playing the mighty Histon the season after next - Alas, Alzheimers is pretty predominant around your ripe old age, so perhaps you will think we''re playing Man Utd.  [:P]

Shyster - We are averaging just over a point per game (1.0263157) which equals 8.2105256 per eight game block. As you say they really should not allow some people access to a computer.... Whilst what you are trying to say is factually correct if predicting the outcome of footy games was as simple as this mathmatical exercise I would be winning the footy pools every week.....
We are Third Division, and like me, you should start getting use to that awful fact- especially awful because it doesn''t guarantee the departure of Delia & co. In fact, in the current climate, it rather enhances their positions at a club that once had all the credentials for Premier football. [:@]

If it were that simple the season would only have to consist of 8 games and we could simply extrapolate the remaing 38 games to come up with a final table.

We took 10 points from the first 8 games so thats 1.25 points per game. Multiply by 46 and you get just under 58 points. Easy , we are well safe.

If things were that simple you wouldn''t be able to get into a bookmakers shop.

your right barclayman .

the forwards seem to want the ball and chase after it , im sure cureton would have skyed the effort or missed where coddy calmly took his chance well .

we havent had any real fire power up front apart from lita , but we knew that when dublin left and ched went home , sadly nothing was done about it .

i dont think we have a bad midfield at all , croft and wes when play well can win us games .

shacks never should have never been sold .

lupoli was lightweight , as roeder said after bringing him in and wanting a big man up front .!!!

gunny has made changes where we have needed it ..

i back you on that one !!
