Plastic Scouser 0 Posted March 7, 2009 It''s not his fault. He''s just doing the best he can with an appalling bunch of players and what''s more galling is that the club have put him in this position to be shot down.

The players are on the pitch at the end of the day, it''s down to them. Gunny ain''t perfect, but you are pinning the blame 100% on the wrong person. So we sack Gunny and bring in who with what money? alex_ncfc 648 Posted March 7, 2009 I said a week ago that Gunn has not got a clue, and is the most inept ''manager'' in the history of the club. He has no idea, whatsoever. Anyone who says it''s ALL the player''s fault is deluded - look who is leading them. A manager''s job isn''t just tactics - he has to motivate too. But he is just useless. Legend my arse, this has tarnished his reputation without a doubt.

Gunn is doing ok, it''s the crummy players and the lack of resources to blame. Today was a Fulham type performance they just shat out on the big day. They are paid huge salaries for handling the pressure but they just played like lost little boys. One good thing is the salaries paid to players will be a hell of a lot lower next year. ZLF 271 Posted March 7, 2009 Not teh worst squad, I do think that was the one we started with last season to be honest. But they are hugely underperforming, and appointing a no experience manager when we needed so much more was a mistake, and poor Bryan has shown just how far out of his depth he is with his signings. One quality signing would be better than 6 most of whom dont even make his own bench. But I agree with barclayboy. When half the side dont play for the team, you are always on a loser.

Captain Controversy 0 Posted March 7, 2009 I agree. May as well put him out of his misery now and get rid. He is hopeless and its a shame, as it has already tarnished his reputation. As to who comes in... it HAS to be an arse kicker. Give these players a right good rollicking and hopefully get a few performances of steel and determination out of them.Or alternatively beg Glenn to come back until the end of the season. Hes saved us once before from a similar plight. What a hero.

Captain Controversy 0 Posted March 7, 2009 But for the club he should now accept that he can''t save us.I''m not saying he isnt a legend. He is. But all this is doing is tarnishing all the great memories. Gunn at this rate will be remembered as the manager who took us down to the third tier.
