Our only hope now is to appoint a specialist fire fighter with the experience of getting teams out of trouble and to spend our way out of trouble  on top of the champoinship quality loanees.

Gunn''s signings have made no impact whatsoever but i don''t necesarily blame him for that, he was the wrong man at the wrong time and the board can add that to their ever lengthening list of mistakes.

What difference will that make if the players don''t give a sh*t? They simply don''t give two hoots about the club. It wouldn''t make a difference who was in charge. Oh and the club have no money, or at least thats what they tell us.....

It''s not his fault.   He''s just doing the best he can with an appalling bunch of players and what''s more galling is that the club have put him in this position to be shot down.

He is hopelessly out of his depth. It''s not his fault and I can''t see changing a manager would change much now but we musn''t renew his contract.

We have to try something! At the moment we are going down without a fight and that is shameful.
So that''s Gunn''s fault how?  The players are on the pitch at the end of the day, it''s down to them.  Gunny ain''t perfect, but you are pinning the blame 100% on the wrong person.

So we sack Gunny and bring in who with what money?

I said a week ago that Gunn has not got a clue, and is the most inept ''manager'' in the history of the club. He has no idea, whatsoever. Anyone who says it''s ALL the player''s fault is deluded - look who is leading them. A manager''s job isn''t just tactics - he has to motivate too. But he is just useless. Legend my arse, this has tarnished his reputation without a doubt.

And who would you suggest, Red Adair? Gunn is doing ok, it''s the crummy players and the lack of resources to blame. Today was a Fulham type performance they just shat out on the big day. They are paid huge salaries for handling the pressure but they just played like lost little boys. One good thing is the salaries paid to players will be a hell of a lot lower next year.

A muppet?  That man you call a muppet is a NC legend, and regardless of what you think of him as a manager at least show some respect and maturity by not calling him names.

Not teh worst squad,  I do think that was the one we started with last season  to be honest.

But they are hugely underperforming,  and appointing a no experience manager when we needed so much more was a mistake,  and poor Bryan has shown just how far out of his depth he is with his signings.

One quality signing would be better than 6 most of whom dont even make his own bench.

But I agree with barclayboy.  When half the side dont play for the team,  you are always on a loser.

Come off it Alex. So your telling me that the players performances have been acceptable? There us never any sense of urgency from the players. It wouldn''t matter who was in charge. There is no real quality in the squad, FACT!
Gunn has served his purpose as far as the Board are concerned all 17,000 of them .

Don''t forget those buying their tickets by Direct Debit can still cancel (read the terms and conditions). No way will it be 17,000 when the season starts next year.

Maybe for you but not for me.  He has been and always will be a NCFC legend.

I agree. May as well put him out of his misery now and get rid. He is hopeless and its a shame, as it has already tarnished his reputation. As to who comes in... it HAS to be an arse kicker. Give these players a right good rollicking and hopefully get a few performances of steel and determination out of them.Or alternatively beg Glenn to come back until the end of the season. Hes saved us once before from a similar plight. What a hero.

But for the club he should now accept that he can''t save us.I''m not saying he isnt a legend. He is. But all this is doing is tarnishing all the great memories. Gunn at this rate will be remembered as the manager who took us down to the third tier.
