beachbum 0 Posted March 7, 2009 Now that the Turners have broken cover and indicated that differences at board level resulted in them pulling the plug on their investment, shouldnt the rest of the board let us know what actually happened?Roger Mumbys assertion that he didnt know the reasons why they left , now look more feeble than ever.Differences were there , the Turners confirmed it.Rumours of a bust up between Turners and MWJ have been doing the rounds. What exactly are these "footballing reasons"? 0ridgemanddMMyyyy0Falseen-USTrue 0 Posted March 8, 2009 If the Turners were true supporters they would tell us where the problem lies and why they left. Unfortunately they are fair weather supporters.

Arthur Whittle 0 Posted March 8, 2009 Why does it take Peter Cullum or the Turners to tell us whats happenening, our so called board should be doing that, but having said that when was the last time we got a word of truth out of them?
Barry Brockes 145 Posted March 8, 2009 My understanding is that the Turners were monitoring Doncaster''s work especially with the free rein he is given, didn''t at all like what they saw and fed back to Delia that he needed to be replaced if the club was to move forwards rather than backwards. However, Delia was having none of it. The Turners, being by far and away the sharpest members of the Board, and realising the likely outcome this season with Doncaster as CEO, decided they would be better off out of it before the yikky yakky really hit the fan. colneycanary 0 Posted March 8, 2009 The Turners wanted their interest free £2.5 million loan back! In the terms of the loan, it says it would be paid back by getting promoted to the prem with-in 10 years (2017) or if the club was sold! As Delia and Michael refuse to sell or even talk to Cullum, this resulted in a conflict between them and Delia and Michael. So they jumped ship!!
