Yellow Wal 315 Posted February 27, 2009 How much longer are we going to have to put up with a lack of passion from players wearing our colours? Surely we must have produced some players from the academy that will at least play with guts, a will to win and a pride in the shirt they are wearing. I want to see players who never know when they are beaten, not ones that roll over and die too easily.Even if the youngsters are not as technically as good as their ''seniors'' there is no substitute for effort, passion and pride which youngsters, given the chance, will surely display. If we have to go down I would like to go down fighting! Thecanaryfan 0 Posted February 27, 2009 Too reet. I think a major problem with the squad is that there is no leader. It certainly aint Fozzy.
Robert N. LiM 6,274 Posted February 27, 2009 well, the Jarvises didn''t show much passion or pride, and Chris Martin''s passion for City was such that he turned up for pre-season almost a stone overweight. The most recent young player I can remember playing with real passion for City was Ched Evans. Agree that we are very short of leadership, though.
