lucky green trainers 0 Posted February 28, 2009 last season - grant resigns - duffers and gunny sign hartson and we don''t win a bean - dropping into the bottom 3...roedy arrives///this season - roedy offloaded - gunny and legends signs killen (by all accounts hartson mk2) and some other dross imo - we don''t win a bean and drop into bottom3...last season - we go on an unbeaten 16 match run - ''appear to raise more in player sales than we get in'' by failing to sign taylor - and get in 4 young uns - end up skirting with relegation...this season - we again appear to raise a profit from the jan window - fail to sign experience pro''s like purse,,,and bring in players who can''t even make the starting 11 - but this time we''re in a fight for our champs lives...is there a pattern here???[8-)]
canary cherub 1 Posted February 28, 2009 Yes.Ever since we came down from the Prem we have spent less per season on replacing players than we got from selling them. There''s only going to be one outcome if you keep doing that. It aint rocket science. You get what you pay for, by and large.
