Matt Morriss 69 Posted March 1, 2009 There have been a catalogue of poor decisions by the club this season, and last for that matter, by various people at the club, board and manager.Main ones for me are the appointment of Peter Grant, the appointment of Roeder, the releasing of Huckerby, the selling of Shackell, the reliance on Omozusi, Kennedy and Stefanovic, the failure to replace Dion, not playing Lupoli and the constant revolving door of poor quality loans. But the person and decision that will turn out to be the worst and the one that seals our relegation without a shadow of a doubt for me, is Gunn''s decision to recall Jamie Cureton and let Lupoli walk out of the club. This decision is absolutley ludicrous. It proves Gunn''s lack of experience. Roeder was right, Cureton wasnt good enough. Gunn decided that he was going to rely on a striker who had scored 1 goal all season, and let our top scorer, who''d scored 5 goals in about as many minutes on the pitch, leave the club.Yesterday proved what a bad decision that has been with his pathetic miss from 5 yards. I said the second Lupoli left that this decision will send us down, and im sadly being proved right. Nobody was brought in, Gow and Killen arent going to get the goals, so were relying on Cureton. Why is it we all know he''s not going to do it, bar Gunn? This is actually a collective decision involving Roeder, the board and Gunn. Roeder didnt play Lupoli enough, the board sanction a massive agent fee to bring him here and then he doesnt play, madness, and Gunn lets him walk out of the club. OUR TOP SCORER!!!Well done Gunn, your faith in Cureton will relegate us.
Chunky Norwich 0 Posted March 1, 2009 There''s an element of truth in this although Roeder refused to play Lupoli too, preferring Rusty or Doherty. Wouldn''t you rather have a recognised striker playing than a midfielder or centreback?Actually, on second thoughts, you don''t have to answer that... They need to EARN the right to play us 0 Posted March 1, 2009 "There''s an element of truth in this"No there isn''t. It was the board''s decision to recall Cureton, taken before Gunn was appointed.

Mark Smith 0 Posted March 1, 2009 Regardless of who made the call to bring him back, it is Gunn who''s playing him week in week out. But of course, we''re not allowed to out any of the blame on him, it''s all Roeder''s fault...
Norwich R Us 59 Posted March 1, 2009
the appointment of Roeder
To be fair, this appointment saved our skin last season and is probably the only good decision the board has made in years.Sure, roeder shot himself in the foot as time went on (not the first time...) and his sacking was needed but what does the board decide to do a mere year after our previous relegation survival? Oh, they turn their back on the successful policy of hiring someone with proven experience and revert back to a grant esque ''yellow blood, zero experience'' roll the dice cheap option. There is no breath left in this catastrophic season. The smoking gun is "TEAM NORWICH" and the boards prints are all over it.
Dionysus 0 Posted March 1, 2009 Actually, if you look at the table, we''ll be relegated because we are conceding far too many sloppy goals.
