johnson295 0 Posted March 2, 2009 why is fotheringham the captain when he gets subbed each match or comes on a sub in the match?
shefcanary 2,384 Posted March 2, 2009 or when like for Coventry''s winner, despite only being 5 yards away from the action (Cort desparately trying to stop their scorer getting into a shooting position) he justs stands by and let''s them get on with it when all it would have took would have been him turning up for the Cov guy to do something different. Hopefully the bust up with Gunn will see his last appearance!

He was released by Celtic to Dundee and then by Dundee to German side Freiburg. Freiburg released him early too and he had a trial with Leeds (played for them in a friendly v Hartlepool) but was not taken on. He then trialed with Southampton without success - before joining us. Of course there could have been other reasons than ability why he struggled to get a club permanently. But it does make me wonder when critics of Lappin say that Lappin is fit to play only for the likes of Motherwell (where he scored against Celtic) despite once being MoM v Ipswich in the 2-2 draw. If that is a fair reflection on Lapps where does it leave our captain?.

Failed to clear a bouncing ball when looked favourite for it, and he should of easily be able to deal with it. Coventry player won the ball and 2 passes next, the balls in the back of the net! This brought on a major shouting match between Clingan and Fotheringham. Clingan knew who was to blame!!!!
