Shyster 0 Posted March 2, 2009 Two years after Premier Division founders Norwich had famously beaten Bayern Munich, the mighty Histon FC were relegated to the second tier of the Jewson League - under a decade ago, I was a nigh on 40 year old has-been playing among ex Norwich crocks/cast offs (Wroxham FC) beating the likes of that other village football team with consummate ease. Next season, Norwich City FC & Histon FC could well be just one Division apart. [:$][:@]Histon''s average home attendance is a little over 500.

? 20 Posted March 2, 2009 He''s got no grounds for getting his money back. You know the risks when you buy your ticket. If you made the wrong decision for you, that''s your problem. What an idiotic thread title.
kdncfc 0 Posted March 2, 2009
Depends if he meant he was giving up his season ticket or just wanted his money back! [:)]
I would suggest that the fans who aren''t renewing their season tickets because of how bad things have been are the ones who care more deeply what is happening at the club and want to try and do something about it. If all 20k season ticket holders didn''t renew their tickets the club would become unsustainable overnight and Mrs Smith and co would be forced to go tail between legs to anyone who may be interested and take whatever they feel fit to offer her for their shares. Wouldn''t help us this year but at least if someone with money came in we''d have a decent shot at coming back next year, with the current shower still in charge we will probably be lucky to survive in league 1 next season. Theres only one Ken Foggo 0 Posted March 2, 2009 Exactly. If 20,000 season ticket holders disappeared overnight then we really would be heading for the Conference. Demonstrate against the board by all means but don''t destroy the club in the process.
gary 0 Posted March 2, 2009 unfortunately football is a habit and if you have had a season ticket then you will renew - however kicking that habit is not difficult and once you do you find a Saturday afternoon world that is livable , the club carry on and the world carries on turning whetehr you are at football or not . Crowds will drop inevitably in Division 3 - fact of life The problem comes if the crowds stay low - if no success then they will fall further - howvere you won''t be missed , the club won;t care really

Canary Wundaboy 1,358 Posted March 2, 2009 Those who complain about wanting change but then renew their season tickets are just hotting themselves in the foot. The only thing this board responds to it money. Withhold it from them and they''d be forced to sit up and take notice.
