Barlodona 0 Posted March 3, 2009 How about jonny grounds upfront??? big strong young lad, He''s scored 3 goals in his short time here so far from defence looks like he can finish in the box unlike curo!!im not saying that we should start him upfront but if were chasing the game instead of sticking doherty up front as we useually ...do try putting jonny up there? SNAP 0 Posted March 3, 2009 Absolutely no point in sticking Docherty up front or even sending him up for corners. It''s not his fault but his head is the wrong shape. It slopes straight back from his eyes and therefore whenever he gets his head to the ball it goes up in the air. That''s OK when he''s at the back but just think how many times he has got to the ball in the other penalty area and it goes over the bar. Now I''ve said it you''ll all notice it at the next game.
