Ayrton Twigge 0 Posted July 15, 2004 I had to smile when I read todays feature in the Pinkun now that the reserve fixtures have been published. It says ....Norwich City reserves begin their season just four days after the senior team, but have found themselves with a much higher quality of opposition for the new campaign. Its sort of true, compared to previously - but since when do West Ham, Leicester, Coventry, Derby and Watford, all Div 1, sorry , Championship, teams represent higher quality opposition!!The others, Arsenal, Spurs, Fulham, Saints, Charlton, Chelsea and Palace are only at our level, not above us. blacko 0 Posted July 15, 2004 Unless we get them in the cup, this will be the only time to see Ipswich as well. Mind you if we do get them in the cup, we may put out our reserve side for it.
susie b 0 Posted July 15, 2004 But surely, blacko, our reserve side will be the one that defeated the Binners twice last season as our first eleven and bench will be the fifteen new players we have brought in plus one decent one from last season, if there is one, ''cos the rest are rubbish!!! (Awesome, Fab. Sainsbury''s have a very good offer on grapes this week, by the way! No guarantee they are sweet either).
