What do we gain from staying in the championship?

Recommended Posts

Pride, honor, avoiding humiliation of Leeds and Nottingham Forest, a chance (albeit very slim, especially with this board of do-nothings) to get into the Prem in 1 season, maintain our reputation as a worthy club.

The only possible benefit would be there would be enough pressure to sell the club so we could get new owners and decision makers, but there always seems to be an excuse for no changes to be made in the spots where they really need to be made the most.

Evidently you don''t ''get'' football.

What would you prefer to see at Carrow Road - greyhound racing? Speedway? Or perhaps stock car racing?

In all fairness stock car racing would be quite fun. Or we could have Rollerball. Or tag-team wrestling; I''d pay good money to see Cluck and Smudge against Wiz and CT. Or you Bly versus Nutty Nigel. Or everyone against Delia S. Tickers/Fraksas/Mange Tout

More income.

Better chance of getting the club back to where it is capable of being - the Premiership.

Less chance of the club falling further into the sh*te and more years of mediocroty.

Just look at our narrow failiure to avoid relegation from the Premiership -

Had we of stayed up things could have been much different. The club could of moved on further in the Premiership by buying better players, the upper tier of the City stand may of been built and the corner between the barclay and the Jarold stand could of been filled with seats with the hotel bolted onto the back which would of been the better design!

Relegation has to be avoided at all costs although it the worst does happen I''ll still be about and the club will survive though it will be an even longer road back to where we know we can be!

The major downside apart from pride, is a player exodus, dropping the overall standard, and worth of our club.

Plus sides will be a lower wage bill, and we might see the odd victory at Carrow Road again. [:O]Blimey isn''t that just what the board want?
