westoncanary. 0 Posted July 15, 2004 Thats Capitalism for you. We could wait until 2007 when they will be cheap but I can feel my flexible friend calling to me as I type this!!
DewsburyCanary 0 Posted July 15, 2004 It is a bit, it won''t stop me buying it though! I see it is not available from DVD retailers on t''internet either. Does anyone know the reason for this?
alex_ncfc 643 Posted July 15, 2004 Holy **** ! I was expecting £25 max. But Templeton is right, it has to be done! Even if i do have to wait until its been reduced ;)Just kidding, not that tight! Is it definitely out from the 26th?
Cottaging Canary 0 Posted July 15, 2004 It''s decent value in my opinion, the woman in the Club Shop told me it was nearly four hours long, including 25 minutes of Parade and civic reception footage.
DumbleDelia is Magic 0 Posted July 15, 2004 Agreed. 30 notes is a bit pricey. I''ll still buy it though!!
Pete Raven 276 Posted July 15, 2004 Isn''t it a double-disc whopper? Well worth 3,000 pennies...
jon francis 0 Posted July 15, 2004 How much is the video folks im not as modern as u and only got video!
Jonzey 0 Posted July 16, 2004 Blimey, even with 4 hours of footage over 2 discs it''s pricey! Lord of the Rings limited extended 4 disc editions are the same price!!I blame players agents.
Arganth 0 Posted July 16, 2004 "I see it is not available from DVD retailers on t''internet either. Does anyone know the reason for this?"Becuase the club hold the sole rights to their merchandising. You''ll also notice you can''t get NCFC replica shirts anywhere else on the net either.
susie b 0 Posted July 16, 2004 Mind you, Peter, that''s just over 43p per game shown for the video/nearly 87p per game for the DVD, and the bonus is the highlights of the parade. A bit pricey, yes...but for the memories..priceless! Just wish I had my birthday coming up soon, or Christmas round the corner. Roll on the next payday then! The clubshop might have some in by then. Pete Raven 276 Posted July 16, 2004 The DVD was ordered for me for my birthday six weeks ago as my mates presumed an end-of-season DVD came out at the end of the season... Oh well, only a fortnight to go!
blacko 0 Posted July 16, 2004 Peter why have you put £19.99 Erk?
Pete Raven 276 Posted July 17, 2004 £20 for a video, let alone a dvd, is pricey these days. But, hey, more money for the club and all that...
Arganth 0 Posted July 17, 2004 £19.99 is the price of the video...
Braintree canary 0 Posted July 17, 2004 I think that the DVD is a lot better for value as it won''t get ruined as quick as the video. Also the DVD has a lot better graphics. 4 hours is well worth it!
