Shack Attack 0 Posted February 10, 2009 Is this supposed to be a joke?"And Sportsmail''s team of experts have compiled their top 50 greatest black England internationals."50. Gary Charles (Nottingham Forest, Derby, Aston Villa)49. Michael Ricketts (Bolton, Middlesbrough, Walsall)36. Ugo Ehiogu (Caps: 4; Goals: 1)34. Keith Curle (Caps 3; Goals: 0)International greats one and all [:|]You can tell it''s in The Mail though by the comments [|-)]"Are you doing a List of the top 50 ''White'' England Internationals?"Click to rate Rating 15 - kato, London, 09/2/2009 14:

Mook 0 Posted February 10, 2009 The question should be "why ARE they bothering making a list of the top 50 black international players" and not "why AREN''T they bothering with a list of the top 50 white international players".What a pointless excercise in "journalism". Just serves to make the PC-gone-mad-brigade choke on their cornflakes and start frothing at the mouth. And of course, the Mail wouldn''t want to do that, would it?What''s that? Oh. Chewbacca 0 Posted February 10, 2009 I''d rather just see the ''top 50 England Internationals'' list - regardless of skin colour
Buncey 1 Posted February 10, 2009 Maybe they have done it because there have been significantly less black england internationals than white international players. Maybe they are try to "celebrate" the high levels that our black athletes achieve. Or maybe, and far closer to the money, there is a certain international fixture coming up with a little bit of a back story....
William Darby 0 Posted February 10, 2009 It''s the Daily Mail FFS, they consistently shit stir.

canarydownunder 0 Posted February 10, 2009 I must admit, when i first read it i thought is seemed a bit odd, but their is 9 or 10 black players that Capello has picked in the team and i suppose their just trying to advertise the impact that black English players have had on the English game today apposed to previous years. canarytom 0 Posted February 10, 2009 They will be doing a list of the top 50 (if there has been that many) homosexual England internationals next!
gary 0 Posted February 10, 2009 because any list of Black sportsmen should have a second or third list, obvious - had they produced a list of " 50 top white English footballers " you would have gone mad
William Darby 0 Posted February 10, 2009 So all the whiteys have been black listed[:P]

And they shouldn''t have done a list of the top 50 black English International Footballers, or whatever it is. They only did it to stir tension, and wind the likes of you up. And it worked. Michael Starr 515 Posted February 10, 2009 How about... a top 50 list of England internationals who started their careers in the lower leagues. That would be far more interesting and relevent, or top England internationals who have represented at all levels for England, from schoolboy to senior.
