Okay he didnt do a lot right in most people view, but the general consensus was that Shackell going was a good move. Now he''s back. So what exactly are NCFC doing!? In one way, it''s a good move - we desperately need a centre-half, and his arrival undoubtedly makes our squad stronger than it was before. But that very fact is incredibly depressing. How did it come to this, that we''ve been playing for months with only one recognised centre-half (and for most of the season with no recognised centre-forward)?I''ll be giving Shackell a good cheer, but his return is the move of a club that has seriously lost the plot.
