one 4 the future 0 Posted February 12, 2009 What the hell''s going on with Martin(Tiny)Taylor, down here in Norwich he''s a loan legend and we''re crying out for central deffenders.Yet further afield in the midlands,he hasn''t been seen since the start of the campaign and seems to be absolutely surpluse to requirments in Alex McLeish''s plans as it has now been confirmed that Djimi Traore has signed a 3 month emergancy loan deal with Birmingham. We need to reinquire now what the sittuation is with this guy, before SSNews brings us news of Tiny signing for another club and even worse a relagation rival.[^o)]
pete 318 Posted February 12, 2009 played in last gamePage last updated at 17:23 GMT, Saturday, 7 February 2009 E-mail this to a friend Printable version Birmingham 1-1 Burnley Birmingham failed to take full advantage of leaders Wolves losing as they drew 1-1 with Burnley. Burnley took an early lead through Martin Paterson who tapped home from close range after Robbie Blake''s cross-shot fizzed into his path. Kevin Phillips equalised for the Blues eight minutes before the break when he beat Brian Jensen from 12 yards out. Both sides had chances to win it but Maik Taylor and Jensen were in fine form between the sticks. Birmingham manager Alex McLeish: "Why didn''t the players turn up for the first half? We began very slowly and appeared to be in a trance. Burnley, to their credit, got out of the blocks very quickly. "Despite our organisation, work and training we looked extremely vulnerable and it was almost as if they were saying to Burnley ''hurry up and score''. "It was an amazing first half but the second period was much better." Burnley manager Owen Coyle:"We didn''t take our chances and we then made a terrible error at the back. "Usually coming to Birmingham you would be pleased to leave with a point. I have to say I am not. I am disappointed as we were deserving of three points. "The first half was as good as we have played this season - including all the games we have won against Premier League teams." Birmingham: Maik Taylor, Larsson, Martin Taylor, Ridgewell, Murphy, Bouazza (Costly 63), Carsley, Bowyer, Sinclair, Phillips, Jerome (Fahey 74). Subs Not Used: Doyle, Queudrue, Johnson. Booked: Bowyer, Ridgewell. Goals: Phillips 37. Burnley: Jensen, Williams, Duff, Caldwell, Kalvenes, Elliott, McCann, Alexander, Blake (Eagles 77), Paterson (Rodriguez 84), Thompson (McDonald 90). Subs Not Used: Penny, Gudjonsson

First Wizard 0 Posted February 13, 2009 THE worse decision by Ratty, was to daudle over getting Tiny here on a full transfer deal. We badly needed him then..........and we still do.

How much money have we wasted on all the central defenders we''ve loaned since Tiny went back to Birmingham?! I bet it''s alot more than the extra 250k we could of used to capture him, and build a solid and dependable unit at the back!
