The Old "Paul McVeigh" Song

Recommended Posts

It was probably one of the best songs for a player sung at Carrow Road...it really got the crowd going.  I think we should resurrect it again.  Hoolahan might fit the bill for this song (cross the ball, lack of height etc).

what do you all think?

I think this is a great idea.  Only this morning I was thinking about new songs to bring to carrow road.  My friend is a liverpool fan and they have so many songs.  We hant got many songs for each player no more..maybe everyone on the pink''un can get together and gets some new songs going.  McVeigh one for hoolahan is a start

''We love you Paul McVeigh, despite your lack of height!''

Classic, still sing that in my head when I see a picture of the wee man.

How about for Wes the following, to the tune of Johnny Be Good (sung by Michael J Fox in Back To The Future):-

"Go go, go Wesley go, go

go Wesley go go

go Wesley go go

etc etc

go Wesley Hoolahan"

Could really get the crowd buzzing to that, what do you think?

Could we not get "Killen and Crofty" somewhere in the Killing me softly song?

If you speed up the second sentence a bit it sorta does, either way, i wouldnt expect it to be sung at the ground!! Worrying really that it was the first song that popped into my head. I had worse ones probably best not to be posted on here!!

Hoolahan''s song should definitely be sung to the tune of the Muppets ''Phenomenon'', like Steve Macmanaman''s was.

''Wes Hoolahan, doo doo do do do,

Wes Hoolahan, do do do do,

Wes Hoolahan, doo doo do do do, do do, do do do do do do do do do do''

and repeat.

I think we should resurrect the old Paul McVeigh song again...regardless of who it is.  (I just thought Hoolahan would fit the bill)

It was one song that everyone sang loudly.
