canaries 0 Posted February 7, 2009 Gunny has said we will have a new signing next week do anyone know who it isBryan Gunn says his work in the transfer market will mean at least one new face coming into Carrow Road next week.The new Canaries boss has wasted little time in compiling Team Gunn, but says his work is far from finished.“There is no week off with my telephone,” said Gunn. “We can do some work today, we can do some work tomorrow morning after the game on Saturday.“We want to hit the ground running straight away.”Gunn is almost certain to bring in defender Andrew Davies from Stoke, after a deadline day moved was thwarted by the weather and the difficulties Stoke encountered in signing Stephen Kelly from Birmingham. That deal has gone ahead - reopening the door for Gunn to sign Davies on a half-season loan as soon as the seven-day transfer ceasefire ends on Tuesday.
