Yorkshire Canary 118 Posted January 28, 2009 I can fully understand the nervousness about the club at the moment, it has been ther for several seasons and to be fair has been justified. It is early days for Gunn and co but lets focus on positives 1] 2 games 6 goals and 4 points, could have been a lot worse 2] he has what is a small squad wanting to play for him. I also think that the current squad have a lot more in the tank if he can get them going. On paper at least they look far better than Charlton,Southampton,Doncaster and barnsley 3] He is looking to get in a proven championship centre half in the form of Purse. Not rocket science i know but something which has not been addressed for a couple of years. Craney is also a natural left sider, known to crook so he will give us options and he is out of contract next year so if thengs work out he may stay. If Gunn gets Purse in and anyone who looks like a centre forward then i will be happy and confident that we will stay up Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
