ca 1 Posted January 28, 2009 Isn''t there a rule which says you can only have 10 loanees in one season? So far we''ve hadArchibald-Henville: Lita Kennedy: Koroma: Omozusi: Sibierski: LupoliBertrandCarney That leaves only 1 more loan allowed or have I got that wrong? Unhinged Canary 375 Posted January 28, 2009 I hope not! Add Jon Grounds to that list and we''re there!
Beauseant 0 Posted January 28, 2009 Kenendy,Sibierski and Lita have gone back, and Troy is now at Exeter. The rule is 10 at any one time,so we''re OK.

From my....ahem...Football Manager knowledge, I thought it was something like a limit of 4 long term, and 6 short loans a season?
TheCardinal 0 Posted January 28, 2009 There are no such rules. Gavin Strachan''s blog helpfully elaborates.http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/gavinstrachan/2009/01/lend_him_like_beckham.html

drunkunmunkey 0 Posted January 28, 2009 Thought it was 7 at a time, 5 in a squad and didnt know there was an upper limit to loans in a season.
James Kent 0 Posted January 28, 2009 It used to be simple case of 5 loans a season. But its got more complicated due to different length of loans and different types. The only real rule is 4 long time loans a season. The so called emergency loans are unlimited. SpA 0 Posted January 28, 2009 I believe you can have a certain amount of loans under 23 and a certain amount above.Carney, sibi, kennedy etc were all above 23 so fall into that categoryand I cba to find the exact amount out :)
pennywise 0 Posted January 28, 2009 kennedy and lupoli also count as foreign loans so thats yet another category [:D]
newyorkcanary 14 Posted January 28, 2009 I thought the Lupoli and Kennedy loans did not count against our loan total as they were from foreign clubs.
SpA 0 Posted January 28, 2009 the foreign loanee thing only applies to how many loanees can be named in a squad.which is 5 domestic loans plus 2 foreign
