Boba Fett 0 Posted January 29, 2009 I know he has retired but i wonder if he would consider coming back with enough persuassuion from old team mates Gunn and Crook, I reckon he could still be excellent at this level even if its on a pay as you play. Apparentely he was a class apart at the game at yarmouth last nite and thats without any training or practice.
Block E Buh 0 Posted January 29, 2009 As assistant manager yes but not as a player. He''s been told he cannot play anymore due to his eye injury which is why he didn''t header the ball last night and played in midfield.
Grif 0 Posted January 29, 2009 I thought he was forced to retire due to an injury - something to do with his eyes I believe?? I thought there was a risk of him going blind if he continued playing and got another nasty knock on the head, so had to give it up.

The Voice of the Thorpe Area 0 Posted January 29, 2009 He can still see the cricket ball, but I''d be very suprised to see him playing professionally again. From what I''ve heard, he''s looking to do his coaching badges soon.
