Ian Wright, Stuart Peace, Michael Kightly and Geoff Horsefield all started pro football late.

I don''t think anyone could say these players were not dedicated and gave 100%.

At least give him a chance before you start slagging him off

This is the one where he''s come from.
Yeah I saw that one earlier too.

Are you sure that is the right one though?

Ryman League about an equal standard to the top of the Ridgeons League isn''t it?

Oh well I suppose we will soon be playing Kings Lynn in or around the void between the Ridgeons and the Conference South if we stick with Delia & Co for much longer.

I for one, look forward to him playing, as I have said before, polishing rough diamonds is good idea, if it fails, then what have we lost? Nowt. If he does well, then we have done very well.

Good luck fella.

"Ryman League about an equal standard to the top of the Ridgeons League isn''t it?"

Depends which part of the Ryman League you are referring to. The Ryman Prem is Step 3, which is where Dartford play. It is also the same league in which DJ Campbell (now at Blackpool) and Jermaine Beckford (who was at Wealdstone) played when they moved to the football league. There''s a massive difference between Step 3, and Step 5 which is Ridgeons League.

I''ve seen plenty of Ryman League Football over the years, mainly Wealdstone where Jermaine Beckford played. He was class and could have played in the Conference (Step 1) whilst with the Stones. Jermaine Beckford cost Leeds £50,000 with a 20%/25% sell on clause (I think). We''ve probably paid the same for Cody, plus a pre-season friendly. Jermaine did take a while to get established though (loans with Carlisle + Scunthorpe) as the level of fitness for league football was well in excess of what he had at Wealdstone. I''d expect the same thing with Cody.

Tony Kemspter''s non league site is the best non-league site around for check the non-league levels.

A few quid from our extremely tight purse.

Perhaps we can put that Advert above out during the summer on the NCFC Official Website?

Our ever dwindling pot of cash gets ever smaller, while you lot still make your excuses for those who would steal pennies off a dead mans eyes.

According to the Pyramid it is one League above Ridgeons Premier... http://www.thepyramid.info/asp/pyramid3.asp

So they are worse than Kings Lynn and about the same standard as teams you would see in the latter stages of the FA Vase (at best).

We all know that the Northern Leagues are stronger at that level.

when Wolves signed Kightley plenty on here were moaning anout how we never uncover gems in non league I''d rather we were looking at decent bargains in the lower leagues than chasing Roeders so called ''premiership quality'' like Sibierski...sure its a punt but its low cost low risk with potential for big rewards
If nothing happens we''re down a small signing on fee and some wages.

If he scores 20 next season it will be a blinding piece of scouting.
Blinding piece of plop more like...

If he scores 5 goals inhis entire Carrow Road career at senior level then I will eat my hat.

We don''t have an Under 15''s, Just the sunday first team. Sprowston Wanderers might have though.....

And Doncaster is welcome to come watch me play anytime he likes, at least I can promise you 100% commitment to the cause (even if i would make Boyle look like a good signing!)
