NCFC_Shaun 0 Posted February 3, 2009 It''s this.http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_4891392,00.htmlAston Villa - 4th in the premier league, an exciting team of young English talent, the first team for a while to threaten the big 4, and the manager is getting booed.I couldn''t believe it when I saw that. It just goes to show that if O''Neill is getting booed for working wonders at Aston Villa, maybe we aren''t as harsh on managers as people think. Surely we do give managers long enough. Because if 4th in the prem gets you booed, I''m pretty sure people getting of Roeders back is quite acceptable ...

Coelho 0 Posted February 3, 2009 From the report, it sounds like just a small minority of fans feeling a little disappointed at dropping home points. It''s not like people were having a go at O''Neill personally, which is how you made it sound. No justification for it, all the same - some fans don''t realise quite how lucky they are. Look at the stick Avram Grant got for reaching the Champions League final and finishing second in the Premiership!

Bury Yellow 2 Posted February 3, 2009 To be fair Martin O''Neil was cool about it which is typical of the man. A highly intelligent individual and great motivator.I hope all those on this board who continually have an over the top ''dig'' at our supporters have taken note!
