jedi 0 Posted January 22, 2009 Renton was on his way to Kings Lynn for the rest of the season until roeder left, he''s scored regualy since he came here why not play him instead of carl ''the fallen giant'' cort!
Bury Yellow 2 Posted January 22, 2009 Good call. Before his injury he looked very promising.
grantroederdisaster 0 Posted January 22, 2009 How powderpuff we''ve been up front this year I''m surprised that Renton and maybe other youngsters haven''t at least got on the bench! When you see other clubs successfully blooding youngsters and our very unliked previous manager drooling over other clubs kids its bewildering how he treated guys like Spillane who is a player who was unfortunate last year to not feature more! I was annoyed that we had Russell up front on Saturday but hes probably a better bet than the lightweight Cort! If Cort can''t get in front of Russell before the end of the seaosn at the latest then hes not worth keeping!
Paul Spector 0 Posted January 22, 2009 Give him a go.
GJP 79 Posted January 22, 2009 I''d rather see Rusty or Carl Cort upfront than Renton.Fair enough Rusty isn''t a striker but he battled us to a win against Barnsley and you can see Carl Cort knows how to play, he makes the right runs etc We need the experience right now. Bristol Canary 155 Posted January 22, 2009 Whats going on with the Carl Cort bashing? I''ve been impressed most times I''ve seen him and he looked like our best player in the FA Cup replay game, once he gets up to scratch he could be a good player for us. And when has he been light weight??? he looked strong and held the ball up well every time I''ve seen him.
