Swarney 0 Posted July 25, 2004 Just been watching the Premiership years on sky it was brilliant seeing the scum being relegated with their over paid donkies. However I did notice how good Malcolm Chrisstie looked for Derby, I know he is not the target man many seek but he scores goals, is experienced in Premiership, he must be down the pecking order at Middlesborough anyway thought I''d raise it.On a completly different topic Sky are looking for teams of fans to go on SoccerAm, and sit in the Luthar Bissett stand and I wondered if we could get a group of people together to go and raise our profile and have a laugh. Any view?
Robbo007 0 Posted July 25, 2004 It was nice to see Ipswich getting tonked more than once! (especially enjoyed venus'' classic OG). Regarding Malcolm Christie, I don''t think he has a great amount of ability to be honest + he is very unproven. I saw Christie line up for Nuneaton Borough against Kings Lynn around 6yrs ago. Although he looked good, at the end of the day he was playing lower league football. All he has achieved is scoring alot of goals at lower league football, but never really doing it in the top division - ie, at Derby and Boro.
Kent Canary 0 Posted July 25, 2004 Most people would jump at the chance to go on Soccer Am (sweet soccerettes ease the pain..). Is it better when theres a group that all know each other? Perhaps a few regulars on here would be interested? Dumbledelia? 1st Wizard? Templeton? Cheeseboard? Erm me?!
susie b 0 Posted July 25, 2004 Despite quietly enjoying the Binners'' demise on tonight''s programme I couldn''t help but shake my head at that Equity-card holding horse that plays for Man U. The way he collapsed like a sack of spuds in the box was simply atrocious. Imagine if he tries to do that at FCR! Would we let him out alive?
DumbleDelia is Magic 0 Posted July 26, 2004 Kent Canary.I LOVE soccer am. A brilliant piece of television programming on a Saturday morning. We''ll all have to meet up for a drink over the season and arrange it! ;-)There was a Norwich soccerette on it towards the end of last season. If my memory serves me correctly she was Steve Foley''s daughter

Kent Canary 0 Posted July 26, 2004 Sounds good. Maybe have a pint before one of the matches anyway, people! Rather than an official Pinkun posters thing and getting peoople to commit we could just say meet in Squares or downstairs at Old Orleans sometime (bit of an untapped prematch location there, get served much faster as the queue isnt 8 deep along the entire length of the bar..)Mind you, it depends which 3 matches I get tickets for.. find out later this week..
