Icecream Snow 761 Posted January 27, 2009 Do we get any money from this?http://www.canaries.co.uk/page/NewsDetails/0,,10355~1534267,00.html
WeAreYellows49 0 Posted January 27, 2009 Blimey, you''d like to think so, but most likely some of the money gone towards the debt.
As my login causes problems [ :o) ] 0 Posted January 27, 2009 Yes but I agree with Weareyellows49 in that it is needed to pay the bills and service the loan payments, not to buy a star striker.
North Sea Canary 0 Posted January 27, 2009 Does any body know the figures involved? I believe, before this sale, Eventguard Limited was a wholly owned subsidary of NCFC plc. So therefore the sale should generate funds for the football club. Maybe this money will be used to repay the instalment due on the ''land investment'' loan or in our dreams given to Gunny to bring in Ched Evans!

Tipster101 0 Posted January 27, 2009 whats interesting is that the official site says that the club have retained a share 20 odd percentage stake, but on Companies House it says that Neil Doncaster owns 170 £1 shares and leon blackburn 80 £1 shares - NOT THE CLUB
shefcanary 2,389 Posted January 27, 2009 It''d be a shame if this was the investment Foulger and some of the rumour mongers were hinting at. I don''t know what sums are involved but I doubt they could pay for the loan of Ched for a week, let alone until the end of the season. Let''s hope summat else is indeed on the cards. NCFC since 1986 0 Posted January 27, 2009 if the club own it, why sell an asset? is trouble ahead or are the club selling off assets to cash in before selling up??
The Fish Seller 0 Posted January 27, 2009 Could this be the ''sale of the club'' that has been mentioned in a rumour recently? More importantly shifting and or sale of assets is often the sign of changes in company structure/ownership. Rethinking the future 0 Posted January 27, 2009 According to the EDP the club have sold a 75% stake for about £300,000.Maybe an easy way to get a number of ''non playing staff'' off the payroll and accounts!http://new.edp24.co.uk/content/Sport/story.aspx?brand=EDPOnline&category=Sport&tBrand=EDPOnline&tCategory=Sport&itemid=NOED27%20Jan%202009%2014%3A59%3A56%3A420

Dr. Ink 0 Posted January 27, 2009 Despite the ramblings about player budget, he also implies it will pay for part of Ground''s wages and Roedent''s payoff.NCFC could follow what many others have done and do a sell/lease back on Carrow Road if it gets really desperate! The 4th Official 0 Posted January 27, 2009 The EDP states that the club has sold a 75% stake in EventGuard but the official site doesn''t actually say that. It says that Norfolk County Services has acquired a 75% stake, with the club retaining the other 25%. The last Annual Report (May 2008, page 25) showed that the club only owned 75% of EventGuard, so it couldn''t have sold 75% - all of its holding - and still retained 25%. Unless it bought the remaining 25% of EventGuard shares between last May and now. Anybody know?

If so Neil would presumably have been paid an amount of money to take the shares back so that the Club could offer the stake itself.Maybe we should ask if Neil Doncaster will be making any of his proceeds available for the transfer budget? A donation to the Canary Kitty would do it !!
