McCanary 0 Posted January 16, 2009 Doncaster on good ole radio Naaarfolk this morning says that the club have NOT made any formal approach to the Irish FA or Worthy. Believe what you will?
canary cherub 1 Posted January 16, 2009 No one is suggesting that there was a "formal approach" (whatever that is).Someone needs to ask him whether they made a "request to speak to" him. That is what the IFA say they turned down.Just heard ND on Radio Norfolk saying that "certain people" are causing trouble. Who does he mean? The Irish FA? Gentleman Jim 0 Posted January 16, 2009 He (Doncaster) said that he HAD an informal chat re Worthy''s availability and that in no way could it be construed as a formal approach and that the Irish FA were causing mischief if they said so. He also hinted that he was doing this groundwork to give a list for the boards final consideration, the criteria perhaps managers with proven Championship promotions achieved.Make of that what you can, but if they are going that way about it they are doomed to get another waster I feel.
