Primus to stay at Pompey!

In an interview with the portsmouth manager,Harry Redknapp he tonight confirmed that the inspirational centre half would be staying at pompey.In his words he said that "We have offered Linvoy a small improvement over his present contract,and that he would now have to get on with playing for Portsmouth football club".No word from Mr Primus at present though,whether he is happy with the little bit extra on his contract.

But today''s EDP says there has been no word from the south coast and that Worthy is still hopeful. Unless of course they''re just recycling old (out of date) news and had today''s ''story'' lined up before that interview was in the public domain.
