When was the last time the full backs went careering forward on the attack? When did we last have 20 odd shots on goal in a game. I always thought that Roeder made some excellent signings, but couldn''t get them to play - perhaps they were all too frightened of his reaction if they made a mistake? I remember Pattison looking nervous as Hell in the pre-season against Spurs.If you try at ANYTHING you will make mistakes. It''s not an excuse, just a fact of life.
