jeagle 0 Posted January 19, 2009 I know not many people like him, but personally I think he is the best man for the job. He knows the league inside out and since leaving QPR he has worked for Sky doing reports on games, so he still knows how most of the teams play etc. I am also a fan of the teams he builds, every team he has taken charge of has big strong athletic players, something that GR said he wanted but ulimately failed to deliver. He has great experience in the Championship and I think he would come if approached. My only concern is that he can be a bit of a tube (as Alan Brazil would say).In our position I think we need someone who knows the league.
The Walking Man 13 Posted January 19, 2009 I know the league, it''s the Championship, does that mean I should get the job [:P]

TheCardinal 0 Posted January 19, 2009 I can see what you''re saying, and Dowie is an experienced bloke with good knowledge of this level. But I look at his experience with Coventry - a club a lot like ourselves - and I''m put off massively.
