canarytim 0 Posted January 20, 2009 I hope despite Saturday''s win the club don''t give Gunny the job.Its not because of any malice on my part just the reverse, Gunny is a legend and I would hate to see him subjected to anything like Glenn Roeder, Granty or Nigel got.Lets be honest managing our club at the moment will be a very hard job, ( Saturday must not cover this fact up ) and I think whoever the Board choose will need to have had experience at managing in the championship.I would go for Boothroyd, he ticks all the boxes. One I wouldn''t mind is Dowie, though I know most of the fans would vehemently disagree with me on that one. But his record bar Coventry ( where there was a lot of interference ) isn''t bad at all at this level.PS Fozzy said on Radio Norfolk that Roeder was denied £2 million that he was promised when the Turner''s left. But the club say Delia & Michael made up this £2 million, I think the fans deserve an explanation as these 2 quotes are contradictory. Did Roeder receive the full transfer funds he was promised...yes or no ?
