Well at least when we get relegated we can all have a nice clap on the end of season walk around as we obviously cant oo the club and its appointed legends like we could have booed Glen...

Bizare comment !!

Very surprised by that , would definately been relegated if he would have stayed
oh you have a crystal ball then, maybe you can tell us what the gunn era has for us?

what? 4-0 against barnsley? how does that beat 5-2 against wolves, 2-0 against scum? you cannot say gunn is the superior manager based on one game against a poor barnsley team

i admit the team isnt a bad team , we also lost to forest , and charlton .

it was our biggest win of  the season .

the players never liked roeder hence the random form .

the players wanted gunny , they got him , lets hope they now prove thier point .

So 4-0 against a crap Barnsley is better than 5-2 against the league leaders?

Again facts twisted to make point!

and by the same token you cannot say he is going to be a failure either.  fact is Roeder was sending us down with his arrogant management and only a numpty, or a scummer, would want him back at this football club.

Imho both results, and the Ipswich game, prove the same thing: this lot of players can perform, when motivated. Against Wolves and  Ipswich it was probably the opposition that made them try their best, against Barnsley it may have been new manager syndrome as well as their sympathy for Gunny. Seeing the initial response (and the contrast with the Charlton game) I feel Gunny is an option we must test, before we turn to anybody else...

Interesting to hear from Munby that Russell ''dragged Gunn into the shower room after the game and told him he had to stay on''.

They said "biggest" win of the season. Not best. We won by a margin of 4, therefore it was the biggest win. Wolves and Ipswich might have been better results, but they weren''t bigger, we only won by 3 and 2 goals respectively.

Did you actually wan''t Roeder sacked then ? Is this thread based purely on hindsight and you are throwing your toys out of the pram because Gunny was not YOUR choice of manager ? There are many words to describe this thread but I will bite my tongue and just say its " very disappointing "[:(]

i now wish roeder had never been sacked! how things return to bite you in the bum. you think the grass is greener on the other side but in reality it never is aka "gunn"

Is your ideal management team Roeder, Grant and Hamilton then? I bet you feel utterly silly now. People talk about the glass being half full or half empty, you glass is completely empty...

your all very confident arnt you, this will all end in tears as usual.

none of you would have taken gunn as your choice of manager yesterday, all of a sudden today he is the messiah.
" none of you " how did you arrive at that ? " the messiah " how did you arrive at that ?

" confident " well yes, there is NO point in being anything else is there ?

" will it all end in tears " well probably ( as at least 90% of managers end up by being sacked at some stage )

ermmmmmm, i think we needed a change of manager, someone fresh, because we WOULD of gone down under roeder! yea he might of had a plan to get us out of the hole we are in, but the fan pressure would of eventually become to much for the players, and once its goes as bad as it did the other tuesday, its never going to get better with that man in charge, don''t get me wrong, i didn''t support the appointment of gunn, but there are plenty of people that did, and even more including myself that are willing to get behind him! the players said it themselves, they love it when the fans get behind them, and as we saw against ipswich and barnsley, when we were behind them, how did they play? brilliant! lets hope that this continues!
