Theres a rumour that the weather is going to turn cold again in a fortnight. Any weather experts out there care to give an opinion?

I am concerned as to whether the Doncaster away game will be postponed.

The latest Met Office theorum is wet and very windy from Friday,  "possibly turning a lot colder and dumping snow instead of rain" and another cold snap towards the end of the month.

But, as we all know, they don''t always get it right.........

Clubs without undersoil heating can usually cope with a day or two or frost eg. by covering the pitch. 

The problem at the weekend was that it had been freezing for over a week and the frost had got right into the ground.

The Beeb weather web-site says that currently they beleive it will be cool and wet with winds from the south-west (low confidence but won''t be that different - i trust the beeb nowadays and their forecasts are generally pessimistic so it might actually be quite balmy), generally temperatures will be seasonal norms, so predicting no frost at this stage.  Get a ticket - I''ll be there although in the corporates.
