How about Steve Finnan from liverpool. Apparently suplus to requirements, can play r/back or r/midfield. Rep of Ireland international, don''t know if hes any good, or how much he would be. Houllier bought him from fulham, but there are new signings to take his first team place.

Really, £2.5m? That''s a shame. Have they quoted that or is it paper talk? I''d have thought they''d let him go for less if he''s surplus... and he''d definately be worth looking at.

As would Moore from Rangers, who are apparently discussing a 500k deal with Blackburn. Worth a bid at 600k??

Finnan would be an excellent signing, but again I find myself thinking "we can''t afford him" and "even if we could afford him, he wouldn''t come to norwich". Nevertheless, worthy should have a crack at him.

If Blackburn sign Moore maybe we could sign Lucas Neil. Iv always been impressed by his performance and he can play CB or FB.

I would think Finnan will head back to Fulham given the chance.

Did Lucas Neil break another player''s leg last season (or was it his that was broken)? In either case he would not be a useful signing for us - temprament/unproven since injury.
