shefcanary 2,393 Posted January 14, 2009 Could the fact that the launch of next seasons'' season ticket sales is only a matter of weeks away have also been a reason for today''s news??

SNAP 0 Posted January 14, 2009
Who''s renewing now? I''m in!! Prior to today, I was seriously thinking of chucking it all in after 15 years and only 3 missed games. I have renewed hope now...
A cynic might just see today''s moves as Delia and Michael being well advised. Season Ticket renewal coming up in the next couple of weeks, demonstrations outside the ground and little prospect of anything changing. Season ticket sales nose dive. The banks no longer have the security against the loans. Even without relegation Delia''s investment and her chances for a return look bleak. Compare that with another 12 months of guaranteed full houses, banks off the backs for a while and it buys time to seek a sale....but that would be far too cynical. Graham Paddons Beard 2,429 Posted January 14, 2009 Cynical you may be Snap...but I fear you are also spot on. Although I doubt there will be 20,000 season ticket holders next season.

Captain Controversy 0 Posted January 14, 2009 Whatever results from now on, I will renew but I wouldn''t have done if GR had stayed. Why? SO you go to NCFC matches to admire the manager do you???Jeez.Yes it seems as if the board may have done this to boost their renewals. Well done you ''fans'' for prompting them to make a huge mistake.
Lewie - Holt Our Saviour 0 Posted January 14, 2009 Idiot do you want us to get relegated?
Romantic 0 Posted January 14, 2009 If renewals was part of the motivation for today, why see that as a negative? It''s proof that on the day of rumoured purchases of Kaka for 100,000,000.00 at a 12m annual salary, there''s still some connection between the interest of the fans in the stands and the clubs decision making. Surely it''s a good thing that "customer satisfaction" (for want of a more appropriate phrase) is considered?
