Can''t blame Reading for accepting that, considering he''s out of contract in the summer.  I don''t think the promotion rivalry will matter either, cause Sheff Utd won''t come close to Reading for the rest of the season.

He''s angling for the biggest deal he can get, and Reading can''t do much about it.  I don''t really buy all the stuff about him saying he wants to stay at the Madjeski.  Likewise, did he ever really make noises about wanting to stay at Carrow Road?
