Squad Complete...?

To use the Chelsea / Mourinho method of wanting two players for each position, it could be said that our squad is now complete, thus:

GK : Green, Gallacher and Ward
RB : Edworthy and Helveg
LB : Drury and Brennan
CB : Fleming, Mackay, Charlton and Shackell
LW : Mcveigh and Bentley
CM : Mulryne, Safri, Holt and Francis
RW : Jonsson and Henderson
CF : Huckerby, Mckenzie, Svennsson, Jarvis and Abbey.

Although 3 of these are inexperienced players, it is only in defence where we possibly need another body. I can therefore see no more signings, however the signing of Scowcroft will provide backup on the right wing, and also as a targetman. Do not be surprised if we sign Scowcroft....

I hate to agree with you, but Scowcroft would work in both positions. We need players who can play in more than one role like Helveg and Jonsson. So I can understand NW''s thoughts. Although, It would be ''interesting'' if we had an x town player in our ranks. I think the Boh boys would be on his back from the start.

I think it is crucial that another centre half is brought in.

Is worthy still pursuing the Primus deal? I haven''t heard any other names mentioned. I would be very concerned if we went into the new season without another defender joining.

I''d like us to get Scowy. It was interesting to hear Worthy say that just because Jonson has been given the number 9 shirt, doesn''t mean we won''t get another striker
