pat51 0 Posted December 30, 2008 “Even with days like this (Forest on Sunday), when you''re winning and losing it''s all part of learning. The experience I''m gaining here is invaluable.”Yet another player promising to turn it round. But the final sentence he is quoted with saying sums up everything which is wrong with our club at the moment - Sunday''s fiasco was just part of his career development, just another learning experience. When you add in all the others like Bertrand is it any wonder we are, with Southampton and Charlton the three soft touches of the division, all packed with loan players. Having said that, our awful team on Sunday only had three loan players in it....it is near enough Roeder''s team with the ''new heroes'' included. I feel that our manager has messed up the reconstruction big time and has one last chance to put it right in the January window.
WeAreYellows49 0 Posted December 30, 2008 So he''s busy learning whilst the team nosedive towards the bottom of the table, fan-bloody-tastic Mr Bertrand!!!!!!!!!!
ZLF 335 Posted December 30, 2008 Its one sentence out of context; saying he could have easily gone back to chelsea and done nothing. but wants to be here to help turn it around, as he says earlier in the piece. If Ots had shown Bertrands (damn good early block if I remember rightly, amongst others) committment on Sun it would have a been a big improvement
