New Manager

Recommended Posts

A genuine question here, not a p*ss take as most of you will have guessed I fall in to the "I am gutted about our current plight but don''t agree with the venom" camp.

Realistically, if Roeder goes and a new manager is appointed , they aren''t going to get huge financial backing - how long do we give the new guy. What if we go down, do we stick with them cos they''re new or  do we call for their head then ,or after a season in League 1 that fails to give us promotion.

I am assuming no real financial input coming in. How long is reasonable?

Clubs with half our crowd levels continually do better than us so theirs no reason that the RIGHT man in charge of our team couldn''t do much better!

I don''t concentrate on anything about the potential new manager cause thats a bridge we''ll hopefully be concentrating on sooner rather than later. All I know is that the current manager is an awful one that is taking our club down the pan and needs to be replaced ASAP!

We havnt really got a good advertisement for a potential new manager (no money to spend...), and Roeder is considered a specialist in fighting relegation (possibly), plus I doubt we have enough money to pay off Roeder, and find a new guy, so it looks unrealistic IMO. Roeder has had just over a season now, he is restructuring the team, so I feel he should be given longer...

If we are relegated expect Roeder to be sacked. Otherwise he''ll get next season at the end of which the Board can release him by not offering a new contract. Mind you if we stay up and finish 21st they''ll probably offer him a new deal at double the salary.

I''ve said it once and oh look im saying it again [:P]

The board is not the main problem Roeder is! The board should still go asap though!
