League One by design?

Recommended Posts

Thinking back on Doncaster''s last EDP missive in which he basically says that "if it weren''t for our rich benefactors, we''d be a League One club"... well he doesn''t actually say that, he says we wouldn''t be "enjoying Championship football" without them... could taking Norwich City into League One for a couple of years to cut down the wage bill be part of a long-term strategy rather than an unfortunate accident?

With half our "squad" getting practice at Luton, could be a clever plan!

Would only need the odd 10K that would turn up for the games.

Top of the terrace serving fish and chips. Smaller pies for the same price.

All could well fit into place.

Just need to find my 1959 rattle and scarf and the wheel will have turned full circle.[:(]

Doncaster needs to get on his bike back to Bristol - home city to two minor clubs.

He has little understanding of the potential of our club - nor do the majority shareholders.

Al three think small.
