He''s quite honest about the state of the club though...This will probably get him dropped, or loaned out to Crewe Alexandra.

Asked how the mood had been at Colney in the wake of the Forest

defeat, he commented: "Obviously, it''s a low ebb really and

everyone''s a bit down in the dumps.  It''s a terrible defeat for us

really, because it was a massive six-pointer, but you''ve sometimes got

to look at the positives.  At least we''re still two points ahead of

them and we''re not in the bottom three.  We''ve just got to look

forward, put it behind us, put it down to what it was a terrible

performance.  To be honest we''ve been playing alright, I know we

haven''t been getting results.

"That was a desperate performance really. There are different

aspects but we have to look at ourselves and say we were terrible.

There''s no getting away from it. we''ve all admitted it and spoken to

each other about it after the game about how disappointed we were.but

we''ve got to put it to one side and concentrate on the Cup game and

then a massive league game at Sheffield.  We''ve got games to look

forward to and that''s good."

[/quote]what a nice change it is though to hear the truth from a player after the game as we all see it, rather than the utter crap that normally comes out of roeders mouth, no doubt when we lose on saturday we''ll have to listen to that dipstick telling us it was another injustice how we didn''t get anything out of the game! happy new year lets hope roeder gets a new job very soon in 2009.

They come out with this sort of drivel because they are approached, via the club, by the Eastern Daily Press who make players available.  All clubs do this.

They can either say: "Roeder is a **** and has lost the Dressing Room"  (as you fans already know) or they can "eye an FA Cup run."

Sorry for the technical answer.

PS: If Norwich City were paying your monthly salary into your bank account at the end of each month which option would you choose do you think, assuming you wished the payment to continue?

I think Doc has his priorities wrong.. he needs to be having an ''eye'' on the league - an FA cup isn''t going to be much use to us if we go down is it? (other than it *may* stave off administration!)

But you are playing in the FA Cup on Saturday I believe.

I  blame the club for setting up a player to talk about your next fixture.

Absolutely EVERYONE out.

Sighs.

No, just reality of the PR thing

Yeah, right.  We''ll see.

It''s fair enough to take the whatsit out of the club but the players are just pushed up front and they know what they are supposed to say.

This surely means we are now out of the cup come 5pm Saturday. Maybe  if the players done there talking on the pitch instead of the papers, we would not be in the sh*te we are now.
