Player of the year award

Recommended Posts

Suggest we do a "John Sergeant/ Strictly Come Dancing " and all get behind one player who Roeder hasn''t played in order to demonstrate supporter power ( Jamie , Lapps, Martin  mebbe? ). Glenn has hijacked the team . Why don''t we hijack that award to show our feelings.

Why don''t we be the "bigger man" and vote for who we think has been the best player, don''t stoop to that level, it''s childish, wont have any effect on anything and means a players good performances go unrecognised.

Roeder seems to be big on those with great attitudes - Fotheringham in today''s E D P

So it''s got to be Simon Lappin

I''m giving it to Lappin [:)]

If I do it seriously so far it will be Clingan. Nobody else deserves it.

Yeah true. But it would send out a big message especially if Roeder was to stay for the rest of the season at least. If he went I wouldn''t vote for Lappin.

Im not sure it is such a childish idea.

The club needs a message that the supporters are furious, and to be honest what better way is there than a public show like that. Yes, Clingan would get my vote, but i wont be voting, and is player of the year, going to be a great honour if done seriously, no, so the protest vote isnt so stupid!
