******* Typical, no Lita!

Recommended Posts

Lita is going now where, because he can keep his options open, he can find bigger clubs and more money and even Wiz you muppet can''t blame the club for that. But of course you can as you are Wiz and don''t do fact, just opnions hey?

Reasons why Lita isn''t here:1. Reading want to sell him or at least command a nice big loan fee for him (probably more than when he first came here, a lot more)2. Lita wants to wait till he''s a bosman in the summer and then see what contracts are on offer3. If the loan fee in 1. is too big Norwich aren''t gonna be interested and it''s more likely that somebody who values his services higher or needs his services more will jump in for him4. In the long term we probably can''t afford him5. Reading aren''t stupid. Signing away an in-form, quality player so early in the window would be silly (let a lone to a club with little or no money). Especially considering foreign imports will be pricey and Lita will be a cut-price buy.
Just to get one other thing straight: Taylor was never actually for sale.  I know for an absolute fact that any move depended on Brum getting a replacement in first, that didn''t happen so a move didn''t either.  Money was not and never was the issue.  Several sides offered plenty for him but he went nowhere.
And yet, on Jan 2nd last year, Brum allowed Tiny to talk to QPR!.

Selective memory again.

As far as I remember it Brady pushed very hard for the QPR deal to go through as it was worth £1.25m; We had an offer on the table that was accepted (after we increased the initial offer) but that was dependant on McLeish getting in another defender. From Wiki;

Following Alex McLeish''s arrival as Birmingham manager, Taylor was told that he was surplus to requirements; the club accepted an offer from QPR, reported at £1.25 million, but the player rejected it.[14] However, injury to Rafael Schmitz, Jaïdi''s absence on international duty and McLeish''s failure to sign any of his defensive targets gave Taylor a first league start of the season in a 1–1 draw with Derby County in January 2008.[

You forgot the most important one;

6, If we sign him on loan it has to be till the end of the season (no recall). Other Clubs could loan him with Reading having a recall option in the deal.

imo -  leezer knows the days of big paydays in the champs has gone - he knows where the interest is coming from via his agent - he obviously wants a 3 year big contract - and a prem club can only afford that now...but scoring a few goals at relegation haunted naaarwich is hardly going to do that for him...my best guess is that he''s seeking a prem loan til season end, and if he can score a few then, he might get his reward///
