Lupoli on his way back?

On the back of todays EDP there was a picture of lupoli in anger and with the headline something to do with - lupoli wants the italian job!!

Later it said that he may be called back to get away from his nighmare from norfolk!!

A couple of Serie A teams are interested in taking him out on loan. I know Sampdoria are interested and one other team from Serie A.

Agreed - not been given any chance here. A real talent - seems someone else will benefit from it though.

I have to say the whole lupoli saga is really annoying me. I just dont see at all why roeder doesnt like him. At the end of the day whenever he has started he has scored most games. He also rescued a point for us against , He scored quite a few goals for derby when they went up. And all this stuff about him being too lightweight is a load of rubbish aswell!

Agree 100%, flaming GR never gave the lad a chance, maybe with Lita supposedly having a broken toe and being in a hospital bed he may get a chance to play...............but then again GR is still the manager so he will most likely play Rusty as our main striker.  Oh joy hehehehe

When I first saw him play for us at cov he appeared to play with energy and aggression wich made his slight physique irrelivent but since then I don''t believe he''s played with that same attitude so maybe it''s just mentally he''s struggling,having seen the lack of impact he''s made coming off the bench he can''t demand a start surely

Yes and to do that it helps if you ''actually'' get played.  How''s he supposed to get 100% match fit and up to speed if he''s never given the chance?

Earny had bags of pace and got himself in some very intelligent positions, Lupoli hasn''t and the 2 cant be compared! IMO you either have to have pace, strength or be a very clever footballer in this league (all 3 would be good). Lupoli isn''t particualrly pacey, has no strength and from what I have seen isn''t exactly an einstien in the football world. I dont think he worked hard enough for the team on the rare occasions he has played either.

Maybe the two shouldn''t be compared.  However Lup''s IMHO should have been given a chance or 6 to try and score some goals, as it is Rusty is not a striker, yet he gets played over Lups, it''s wrong IMO.

I agree with you on the Russell comment however, if Mr Cort stays fit I dont think we will see Rusty up front again.
