Squads that are unrecognisable at the start of the season from the one before it. Remember when we had Roberts, Fleming, Sutch, Eadie et al for years; the core of the squad if you will. Now who''s our longest-serving player? Drury and then....Lee Croft? Was weird at the scum game because I felt we didn''t have any hate figures like a Holland, Wilnis etc because their players hadn''t been at the club long enough to develop any animosity towards them (Naylor aside). Wright and Ambrose have only recently come back.

Try hockey.  It''s a great game and aside from No 18 you won''t find any of it.

Never got any further than East of England goalkeeper (although it included players from Norfolk) but then, and now, a very great game.[:D]

It really was GREAT in the good old days of blood and guts tackling, green cushions flying through the air, BIG DUNC and there was no need to create a false atmosphere (with post goal music, trumpets (other clubs fans), drums (other clubs fans) etc.).
