1. NCFC have never in their history been promoted and then immediately relegated. Our shortest stay in the top league was in the early 70s - 2 seasons. Other than that its always been for longer periods. We''ve been promoted 7 times now since 1920/21.

2. The team winning the 1 division has, in the past 5 seasons, managed to go on and stay up. The last 4 (Fulham, Charlton, Man City and Portsmouth) are all still there!

I dont think we need to look at omens. The only one I can think of is that there are at least 3 teams worse than us. You dont get better than that
