Lamine Diatta rejected Norwich City to join French champions Lyon.

Senegal international Lamine Diatta admits he had no hesitation in joining French champions Lyon despite interest from Premiership new boys Norwich City.

Diatta was available on a free transfer after leaving Rennes and was also wanted by Borussia Dortmund and Bordeaux.

But he revealed he could not pass up the chance to sign for Lyon, who have handed Diatta a two-year contract.
