Pi$$ed As A Mattress 0 Posted December 5, 2008 City Chief Executive Neil Doncaster told the club''s official website: "I''m delighted that the good name of Norwich City has been upheld and our reputation remains entirely unblemished."Yes and No. Although the match fixing claim has been dropped our reputation is in fast decline in other ways such as our management teams total incompetence. We are a joke on the pitch at the moment.
canary cherub 1 Posted December 5, 2008 Of course we haven''t been cleared. The fact that UK bookmakers and the Gambling Commission could find no evidence is neither here nor there, since as everyone knows the alleged unusual betting patterns occurred in the Philippines. The two betting organisations involved were asked for details of timings and amounts of bets placed on the game but declined citing "confidentiality". No one has the power to force them to cooperate. There may be nothing in it of course, but we simply don''t know and will probably never know.
